Eligibility
Fireman
(a) Matriculate (Class 10th Pass)
(b) Must be physically fit and capable of performing
strenuous duties.
(c) Must have the following physical standard :-
(i) Height without shoes-165 cms
(ii) Chest (Un-expanded)-81.5 cms
(iii) Chest (On-expanded)-85 cms
(iv) Weight-50 Kgs (Minimum)
(d) Endurance Test :-
(i) Carrying a man of 63.5 Kgs to a
distance of 183 meters within 96 seconds.
(ii) Clearing 2.7 meter wide ditch landing
on both feet (Long jump).
(iii) Climbing 3 meter vertical rope using
hand and feet.
(e) Written test.
(f) Practical.
Fire Engine Driver
(a) Matriculate (Class 10th Pass)
Engine (b) Must have atleast three years experience
Driver of driving heavy vehicle and be in possession of
valid driving licence.
(c) Must be physically fit and capable of
performing strenuous duties and must pass the
physical fitness tests as under :-
(i) Height without shoes-165 cms
(ii) Chest (Un-expanded)-81.5 cms
(iii) Chest (On-expanded)-85 cms
(iv) Weight -50 Kgs (Minimum)
(d) Endurance Test :-
(i) Carrying a man of 63.5 Kgs to a
distance of 183 meters within 96 seconds,

(a) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised
Board
(b) Capable of reading number and names of
tools and vehicles both in English and Hindi.
(c) One year experience of his trade
(d) Physical test.
(e) Written test.
(f) Practical
3. Type of Post : Permanent after successful completion of two years
of continuous service under probation.
4. The age limit as on the closing date ( 21 days from date of publication of this
advt) will be as under :-
(a) General -18 to 25 Years
(b) Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes - 18 to 30 Years
(c) Other Backward Class as (OBC) - 18 to 28 Years
5. All applications will be fwd through Registered Post only. Sample application
form is given (Appx A).
6. Candidates fulfiling above condition may submit their application as per the
format given. The application form should be affixed with their passport size photograph
(and one spare) alongwith photo copies of documents as asked with self addressed
envelope with Rs. 27/- postage stamp duly affixed for forwarding of admission card for
test.
Documents Required are as Follows :-
(a) Proof of Educational Qualification. Matriculation certificate or its equivalent
recognised by an Indian University as equivalent to matriculation.
(b) Proof of Date of Birth. As entered in matriculation or secondary school
leaving certificate or in a certificate recognised by Indian University. No other
document related to age like horoscope, affidavit, birth extracts from Municipal
Corporation, service record & the likes will be accepted.
(c) Caste certificate where applicable.
(d) Experience certificate where applicable.
(e) Valid Indian driving licence for heavy motor vehicle.
(Licence should be valid on the date of receipt of application)
