Applications are invited from Indian nationals for filling up the post of Stenographer (Group 'C', Non-Gazetted, Ministerial). 

Those fulfilling the following qualitative requirements may apply as per prescribed proforma (at Appendix A) on plain paper duly typed or neatly hand written:- 

1. Name of Post: Stenographer (Group 'C', Non-Gazetted, Ministerial) 
2. Place of Work: Senior Quality Assurance Establishment (Electronics), 19/13, National Stadium, New Delhi - 110001 (This is the initial place of posting. Selected candidates will be liable to serve anywhere in India). 
3. No. of Post: One (Reserved for OBC) 4. Scale of Pay: Pay Matrix Level-
4 (Pre-revised in Pay Band of PB-1 Rs. 5200- 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400), as per 7th CPC plus other allowances as admissible to Central Govt. employees from time to time. 
5. Essential Qualification: (a) 12th class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. AND (b) Skill Test norms only on computer. Dictation: 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute Transcription: 50 minutes (English) 65 minutes (Hindi) 6. Age Limit: 18 to 27 years (03 years relaxation for OBC). Relaxable for departmental candidate upto 40 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government. 7. Selection Process: (a) Written Examination. Eligible candidates will be called for Written Examination. The examination will consist of objective type questions on General Intelligence, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. Question paper will be bilingual (in English & Hindi). (b) Skill Test. The candidates declared qualified in Written Examination will be called for Skill Test and same will be carried out in accordance with para 5 (b) above. (c) Selection will be done on the basis of Written Test and Skill Test only. There will be no interview for selection. 8. Application Form: (a) The candidates may apply for the post by typing the application on a plain paper, or neatly handwritten, as per format at Appendix 'A'. (b) Self attested photocopies of all certificates in support of educational qualification, proficiency in shorthand, age, caste etc. will be enclosed with the application. (c) Candidate should note that any certificate or information furnished in the application form, if found incorrect at any stage (even after offer of appointment), will result in disqualification for the post applied/selected. (d) Three numbers of recent passport size photographs (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm) are required i.e., one photo to be affixed on the top right side of the application form and one photo each to be affixed on both the Admit Cards. Photo on Application Form & Admit Cards should be signed by the candidate in such a way that part sign is on paper and part on photograph. 9. Closing Date: 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News (As a special case 07 days extension will be given to candidates residing in places like Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh division of Jammu & Kashmir State, Lahaul and Spiti district and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Island and Lakshadweep. Applicants applying from any of these areas should superscribe the name of area on envelope in capital letters). 10. Probation Period : Two years. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION TO THE CANDIDATES / APPLICANTS 1. Applications should be addressed to the Senior Quality Assurance Officer; Senior Quality Assurance Establishment (Electronics); 19/13, National Stadium; New Delhi-110001 clearly superscribing "Application for the post of Stenographer" on the top of the envelope. 2. The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of application. 3. Incomplete or unsigned applications and applications received without photographs or proper enclosures or received after due date will be summarily rejected. No representation of any sort will be entertained in this regard. 4. All applications should be forwarded by post only. No "BY HAND" application will be entertained. 5. The decision of appointing authority regarding mode of selection to the post and eligibility conditions of the applicants shall be final and binding. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Mere possession of the prescribed qualification/submission of application does not entitle the candidate to be called for Written Test/Skill Test. 
6. Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification and candidature of such candidates is liable to be summarily rejected. 
7. Submission of false/incorrect/illegible/incomplete information and/or dubious/ bogus documents shall disqualify the candidature. 
8. Appointing authority reserves the right to cancel the selection process without assigning any reason. 
9. No enquiry or correspondence of any type will be entertained. 
10. After the selection process is over only selected candidate(s) will be intimated about his/her selection. 
11. The candidate of categories other than specified for the post need not apply. 
12. The selected candidate will be governed by New Pension Scheme (NPS). 
13. The selected candidate will be required to get his medical examination done from the competent government medical authority as per existing rules. 
14. The offer of appointment for the selected candidate will be issued only after verification of character, antecedents and medical examinations are complete and found correct in all respects. 
15. The applicants should ensure that under mentioned self attested photocopies of documents are enclosed with the application form:- (a) Birth Certificate from competent authority/Matriculation Certificate (as proof of date of birth). (b) 12th class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. (c) Shorthand & stenography certificate as per details at para 5 (b) and issued by recognized/authorized institute.
