Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) was established at Bangalore, India, by the Government of India under the Ministry of Defence in 1954 to meet the specialised electronic needs of the Indian defence services.
BEL is recruiting engineers and post graduates on contract basis temporarily for a period of one year for its project on the data collection of Census, which is implemented in all the districts of Maharashtra at village level.

Tehsil Level Data Base Administrator (TDBA):
Eligibility: BE / B.Tech (Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunication, Mechanical, Instrumentation Technology), M.C.A, M.Sc (Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science)
Salary: An all-inclusive consolidated remuneration of Rs. 12,000 per month
Job responsibility:
Planning the schedule of the data collection (digitization & photo, fingerprint capture through camp establishment at village level) in consultation with District and Tehsil administration. Supervising & executing the data collections at the established photo capture camps including the effective utilization of all the devices and manpower management.
* Technical interfacing between the HQ (BEL) and the implementing teams at the field (village) level. Collecting the data at village level & forwarding the data to the district HQ/BEL HQ. Generation of daily reports and analysis.
* Need to travel extensively to the interior parts of Tehsil & Villages for supervision at a very short notice. Ready to work in the wee hours depending on the requirement in the field.
District level Data Base Administrator’s (DDBA)
Eligibility: BE / B.Tech (Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunication, Mechanical, Instrumentation Technology), M.C.A, M.Sc (Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science)
Desirable: 0 - 1 Year experience in maintenance of data base using My Sql/MSSqlserver/ Oracle. Proficiency in writing queries, data uploading in server and trouble shooting and patch file installation/implementation.
Salary: An all-inclusive consolidated remuneration of Rs. 12,000/- per month

Note: For both posts, knowledge of Marathi (Read, Write & Speak) is compulsory.
Selection process: Walk-in interview comprises written test (objective type questions) and interview.
